Pros: Beautiful
design, Large beautiful screen, Metal design, The new HTC sense 6, Expandable mermory
Cons: Poor
camera in bright light, Duo camera doesn't work perfectly
The beautiful HTC one M8 is the key product for the company this year
also the last year one wasn't the biggest hit but was very popular for the design. As the company has managed
to launch some great phones previous year's HTC One being the big example
-but none of them stand a chance against the mighty samsung phones .Once almost
as popular as Android, HTC's market share is very low in comparison
to Samsung's.

Design
The HTC One M8 looks very beautiful when you compare
it to the Samsung Galaxy S5, or even the gorgeous LG G3. HTC knows the look and
quality of materials matter, and has made them it's top design priority. Like
the original HTC One which was build of metal, the HTC One M8 is a metal phone.
According to HTC , last year's model has a back that's about 70 per cent metal,
and the HTC One M8's rear is made of around 90 per cent metal explanation, last
year's model has a back that's about 70 per cent metal, the HTC One M8's rear is around 90 per cent
metal.
The two-tone plastic in the previous one have been replaced by a one-piece metal back
that curved around to meet the Corning Gorilla
Glass of the screen's top layer. HTC One M8 is very curvier and gives a very
smooth feel than its predecessor, while keeping its hard and cool feel it’s
come with metal – aluminium in this case.
The One M8 also solved the key perceived issue that
was with the first HTC One – The good thing is it has a microSD memory card
slot that was missing in first HTC one.

It is situated on the righter edge of
the one, using a pop-out tray design. It is a good strategy by HTC to give an
option for an external SD card as everyone knows as buying a memory card will
always be cheaper than upgrading to a pricier version. According to sources HTC
is going to make a 32GB edition too, but it won't be available earlier
everywhere here.
Here is the strange HTC's move from a micro SIM to a
nano SIM is more controversial. Very few phones use this tiny SIM – most
notably the iPhone 5S/5 and the Google owned Motorola Moto X – and as the tray
clearly makes room for a dual-SIM model, this is a good move not an issue.
Still, most networks will happily send you out a nano SIM replacement for free
may be. You can also easily clip down your current SIM manually. But we don't
recommend it.

Do it if you know it or else it will cause problems for you.
The biggest flaw in the one is they miss out on water
proof and dust resistant feature that the other flagship phones are sporting.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 are water and dust resistance, using a
rubbery flap to cover the microUSB charge socket. The HTC's One M8 is not
waterproof – its microUSB slot is exposed. According to Reports online that
suggest that the phone is actually fairly water-resistant, but the lack of any
certification means you won't be covered for any water damage.
HTC One M8 – Performance

The HTC One M8 sports a Snapdragon 801 processor, the
same processor type seen in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2. However,
both of these giants have a advantage
over the HTC one M8, in terms of clock speed .
Where the M8 uses the 2.3GHz clock speed of the
snapdragon 801, the Galaxy S5 has the slightly faster 2.5GHz version. However
HTC one M8 for india sports a 2.5GHz clock speed that’s an awesome news for the
indians.
Sony xperia Z2 beats the HTC One M8 and the Samsung galaxy
S 5 with its RAM. Out of the three key flagships seen to date, it is the only
one that is Z2 to have 3GB of RAM. The HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 both
have 2GB of RAM. Well we think 2GB of RAM is enough for hardcore gaming and
multimedia task. Don’t understand what they are trying. Are they trying to make
smartphones “alienware”? well if it is true then they are doing awesome and
putting everything in their flagship phones.
HTC One M8: Benchmarks

The HTC One M8 performs as expected in benchmarks. In
Geekbench 3 it scores 2,840 points, which is just slightly above, the scores we
have seen in the 800 tablets and phones It’s not a big thing that it’s
benchmark score is better than the snapdragon 800 versions the big catch is
that the Snapdragon 800 devices run at 2.2GHz, which is just a bit slower than
the One M8. It can be seen that this is not a massive upgrage but it is still
faster.
There’s a also a quite impressive improvement in the
3DMark gaming benchmark. It scores 20,556, which is around 15 per cent better
than some of the Snapdragon 800 devices.
Should I buy the HTC One M8?

It’s obvious that the HTC One M8 deserves its position
as the top Android smartphone in HTC’s line-up.
It is real that its metal body looks and feels a lot
better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, Well as a big fan of Samsung saying such
such thing is very difficult for me but it is real that it feels very premium
one like the iphone. And as the core specs and screens are roughly comparable,
this will be enough to convince many that HTC is the way to go. It’s not a bad
move either – the look and feel of a phone does matter and the HTC One M8 nails
this. HTC is setting the standard for phone design right now.

For that reason we're recommending it. It's a
fantastic phone. The only issue is the camera. It's really outstanding in low-light
and very fast, but it has some serious problems like chroma and other noise
problems.
